Through this album, highlight the 20 years of an artist named ITTA. First, I spent a year extracting lyrics from the music that I have created and released over the past 20 years and creating a lyric book in the form of a picture book. In addition, after two years I completed two tracks containing my appreciation of 20 years of music while watching the picture book, and two tracks in the form of a mixtape based on music created over 20 years. So I condensed 20 years of music into about 20 minutes. I hope you could enjoy my 20 years. and I will continue my music.
One step at a time, instead of walking straight like a baby, I stumble and fall down, and the number of days where you face the various situations or directions you may encounter after assuming the name 'itta', twisting a little or taking a long turn, is increasing. Sometimes I feel lonely, but I also feel comforted from you listeners. I will take the next step with a grateful heart.
앨범 Light Talking은, 있다 라는 이름을 가진 한 아티스트의 20년을 조명합니다. 먼저 지난 20년 동안 만들고 발표해왔던 있다의 음악들에서 가사를 추출해 그림책 형태의 가사집을 만드는 데 1년을 보냈습니다. 그리고 2년에 걸쳐 만들어낸 그림책과 20년간의 음악에 대한 감상을 담은 트랙 2개와 20년 동안 만들어온 음악을 바탕으로 한 Mixtape 형태의 트랙 2개를 완성하여, 20년의 음악을 20분 정도로 압축해 보았습니다.
한 발짝, 한 발짝, 아기 걸음마처럼 똑바로 걷지 않고 휘청대고 주저앉기도 하며, ‘있다’라는 이름을 가진 뒤 만날 수 있는 여러가지 상황이나 방향을, 조금은 비틀거나 멀리 돌아가며 맞이하는 오늘들이 늘어가며 ‘있다’ 라는 한 사람을 구성하고 있다는 것을 새삼 느낍니다. 가끔 외롭다는 생각도 들지만, 위로를 받기도 합니다. 감사한 마음으로 다음 걸음을 옮기려 합니다.
